About Us

Hampshire Family Mediation is a registered charity based in Portsmouth, covering the whole of Hampshire (including Portsmouth, Southampton, the Isle of Wight and Salisbury.)

HFM is a member of National Family Mediation, the body that sets and monitors standards for not-for-profit mediation services throughout the UK. It also provides mediator training and promotes the use of family mediation among policy makers and government bodies.

HFM is governed by a board of trustees who set the strategy and direction of the organisation and oversee its day operations. They are unpaid for this work. They bring relevant experience of family matters, voluntary sector and business experience and a commitment to contribute to the community to their role.
