Why Hampshire Family Mediation?

HFM is a not-for-profit service – the needs of our clients are always put first.

We are the only service in Hampshire approved by the Legal Services Commission to deliver publicly funded mediation that is a not-for-profit service.

We offer mediation throughout Hampshire, including Portsmouth, Southampton, the Isle of Wight and Salisbury in convenient local venues.

We offer flexible appointment times, including early mornings and evenings, plus weekends by arrangement, to work around your other commitments and interests.

Our fees are tailored to your income – to make mediation affordable – and are capped to give you certainty over the maximum cost you will pay.

Using A Solicitor

Many of the referrals to HFM come from solicitors. You will be encouraged to keep in touch with your legal advisor throughout the mediation process. At the conclusion of mediation, it is usual to take the final document (Memorandum of Understanding) to your legal advisor both for advice and for it to be used to enable the drawing up of a consent order.
